Plain-language summary: KidzEvent is a space for children, run with a parent or guardian in charge. We collect as little as possible, we never show a child’s contact details publicly, and nothing becomes public until an admin approves it.

Children and parental consent

KidzEvent is intended for children. A parent or legal guardian must register the child and provide consent before a profile is created. By registering, the parent/guardian confirms they are the child’s parent/guardian and consent to the limited processing described here. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

What we collect

• From the parent/guardian: full name (first and last) and email, used only for the consent record and to review join requests. These are never shown publicly.
• About the child: the child's legal first and last name (kept private, for our records), a public display name/nickname, an age band (not an exact birthdate), a short bio, interests, and optional links to media (videos/photos) the parent chooses to share.

Only the child's display name is shown publicly. The legal names and all contact details are kept private. We deliberately do not collect precise birthdates, home addresses, school names, or phone numbers, and we never display personal contact information on public pages.

What is shown publicly

Only parent-approved, admin-approved, public items appear on public pages, and only with safe fields (display name, age band, bio, interests, group/event summaries, approved media). Contact details are never shown publicly. Join requests are private and reviewed by a parent/admin.

How data is stored

Submissions are stored in the operator’s private Google Workspace (Google Sheets / Drive) and are not sold or shared with advertisers. Videos may be hosted on YouTube (unlisted) or Google Drive under the operator’s or parent’s own account, subject to those services’ terms.

Your choices and rights

• Request a copy of a child’s data.
• Request correction or deletion of a child’s data at any time.
• Withdraw consent, which removes the child’s profile and related items.

Cookies & tracking

KidzEvent does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded videos (YouTube/Drive) may set their own cookies when played, governed by their providers’ policies.

A note to parents

This notice is written to be clear and protective, but laws covering children’s data (such as COPPA and GDPR-K) are detailed. If you plan to open registration beyond people you know, consider a short legal review.
